<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>Salary - £20, 792 to £24, 462 pro rata<br />Hours - 15 hours per week (flexible)<br />Location - City Road EC1 with hybrid working pattern <br />Benefits - Excellent package including 27 days annual leave + bank holidays pro rata<br /><br />Are you a curious and pro-active and looking for a role in prospect research?<br /><br />You will play an important part in building philanthropy at a leading eye hospital charity to help meet the aims of our<br />ambitious five year business plan for growth, including securing philanthropic income for Oriel - our £100m joint<br />fundraising campaign with UCL. You work will also support world-leading eye research, and education along with patient <br />care, to provide life-changing eye health for millions of people in the UK and around the world.<br /><br />About the role<br /><br />You will join a growing team and contribute to increasing the size and quality of the charity's prospect pipeline (individuals, <br />trusts and foundations and corporates) by undertaking high quality and insightful research. You will play an important part <br />in building philanthropy and securing income.<br /><br />You will support the delivery of the prospect research strategy. You will also provide valuable support that will feed into <br />improved systems and processes, enabling the team to pursue efficient ways of working<br /><br /><br />About you <br /><br />You will be curious self-starter with an interest in philanthropy. Your experience may come from an academic research<br />role or a similar role where you have researched philanthropic opportunities in a fundraising environment. <br /><br />You will be a confident communicator with the ability to absorb and utilise a high volume of information and provide <br />insight that supports the philanthropy team. <br /><br />Your ability to work collaboratively and undertake thorough research that identifies philanthropic opportunities, <br />will be key to your success in this role. <br /><br />For more information and to view the job description for this role please visit <br />https://charitypeople.uk/moorfields. <br /><br />To apply<br />Please send your CV to Katharine at Charity People.
