As a member of the SolarWinds Engineering team, you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that enable us to deliver world class software to our customers. Our engineering teams participate in driving our product vision and strategy as we use our own products to provide observability into our infrastructure. You'll join an inspiring team dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and automation that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You and your team will be responsible for the entire development process, from prototyping to development, testing and deployment. Specifically, you will: Lead team to maintain the culture of continuous improvement and innovation Develop people on the team, hire new team members and grow technical leadership and engineering competences Ensure that quality is a top priority for the engineering team Participate on product feature discussions, high level analysis and ensuring we are delivering features with great usability Work closely with Product Owner to understand software requirements and drivers of customer satisfaction Cooperate with other teams, in international environment, to ensure product and organization goals are met We expect you and will give you time for hands-on experience with the product your teams are working on. Qualifications We want you to know what SaaS software development is about - having both some theoretical and mainly practical background. We would like you to show us that you are good in things you know and will be able to use them as part of our team. We would like you to have a practical experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration, test automation and leading of software development team. You need to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and problem-solving attitude. We expect you to have development background, be passionate about technologies and software development - that will enable you to mentor your team members. The team you will be responsible works with React, GraphQL, GoLang and Kotlin - hands-on experience with these technologies is a strong advantage. As we are open to using various technologies throughout our product portfolio, we need to you to be willing and enjoy learning new things.
