Solution Architect - Retail

Our solutions enable owners, end users and custodians in Retail, to intelligently monitor, meter and control the attributes of their assets in real time, reducing consumption and improving reliability and quality whilst being a fully Open and interoperable system. Giving customers choice is hugely important to us Resulting from growth across the business we have an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect to join our team. Flexible on location and reporting to the Sales Director/Segment Leader this position is responsible for understanding retail customer challenges help solve these business problems through the use of technology integration, IT, IOT & digital services methodologies. This role is primarily focused on the retail segment. Day to Day Responsibilities: Adapting, promoting and supporting integrated, intelligent solutions for customers from the various segments to implement Schneider Electric strategy in the Pacific Zone; Position and Align Schneiders Retail Solution; Lead the respective Segment community to share and collect customer successes; Bring unique differentiation and innovation to our customers, addressing business needs, customer process constraints, and technical challenges; Work closely with the Sales Team to provide pre-sales technical expertise on customer application requirements and Schneider Electric's solution offers; Support Solution Marketing to create the Segment Solution Roadmap / influence business unit roadmaps. Furthermore, the critical interpersonal skills required for this role include; ability to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, excellent communication skills (both written an verbal as well as presentation experience) and active listening skills with the ability to translate customer needs into business solutions.
