Sr. Drilling Engineer

<b>Senior Drilling Engineers, GREAT overseas opportunity!</b><br> <br> NES Fircroft is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the Oil & Gas Industry.<br> <br> Our valued client is looking for a Senior Drilling Engineer responsible for technical planning and execution support for offshore Drilling operations, on a 28x28 days rotation for a 24-month contract in an office in the Middle East. Our client requires a B.S. Degree in Engineering from an accredited university as well as a minimum of 8 years post-degree experience. Candidate is expected to provide advanced level technical work and operations support, and MUST be eligible to work overseas and travel internationally.<br> <br> <b>Work Schedule:</b><br> Role will be office based, rotational (i.e., 28 x 28 days) or resident assignments will both be considered. <b>Primary Duties:</b><br><br><ul><li>Provide advanced level expertise for high volume of drilling activity by planning, developing detailed designs and reviewing drilling procedure</li><li>Develop detailed days and cost estimates based on offset performance to establish project budgets; Steward budget and well AFEs during execution of operation</li><li>Adapt proven ERD Drilling practices to meet the challenges of longer reach, high angle sub-horizontal well design</li><li>Apply job knowledge and experience to ensure readiness for broad range of contingency drilling operations</li><li>Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise during execution of Drilling programs</li><li>Drive contractor performance by establishing high expectations and applying contractor management
