Gas compressor / turbo machinery specialist

On behalf of Aker Solutions, we are looking for a Gas Compressor/Turbo Machinery Specialist for Wisting project. Wisting is one of the largest upcoming industrial projects in Norway.<br><br> As our Mechanical specialist, you will have the following <b>responsibilities</b>:<br><br><ul><li>Act as package responsible engineer (PRE) in FEED for gas compressors incl.</li><li>technology evaluations, specifications, bid evaluation, purchase order placement,</li><li>supplier coordination and follow-up,</li><li>coordination of internal disciplines,</li><li>interaction with procurement and client, testing</li><li>mechanical completion activities.</li></ul><b>Qualifications: </b><br><br> We are looking for a specialist mechanical PRE with Substantial experience within the field turbo machinery, gas compressors and drivers in specific. <br><br> Candidates must have long relevant experience (15+ years) from the oil and gas industry, and must have been responsible for turbo machinery in FEED and/or execution phase in offshore oil & gas projects recently.<br> Education: BSc / MSc Mechanical<br> Experience in Proarc is preferred<br> Fluent in English<br><br> One-year initial contract starting ASAP. <br> Work location: Fornebu, or another Aker Solutions office in Norway /UK.<br><br> If you need further information please contact:<br> Emily Zhang, Senior Recruiter, NES Advantage, Tel: +47 23 96 65 45<br><br> NES Advantage Solutions is Aker Solutions` global recruitment services provider responsible for permanent and temporary staffing services.
