Patient Experience Concierge

Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Concierge greets all patients, families, visitors and staff in assigned area. Proactively assists individuals, providing information, direction and hospitality. May provide guidance to individuals related to other OSF facilities/service areas, coordinate transportation needs, provide local area direction, and advise of area accommodations or amenities. This role is the very first face folks see when walking into the Medical Center from the parking deck. We are assisting a large amount of folks at the entrance with a wide variety of questions, requests that someone with previous direct customer service typically can multitask and handling effectively. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: -High School diploma or GED -6 months of direct customer service or hospitality experience -Basic working knowledge of computers systems -Demonstrates oral and written communication skills -Ability to reason, interpret, and evaluate each situation to provide assistance and resolve issues -Multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment -Interpersonal skills to interact and communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -Experience working with any electronic medical records system EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled Job seekers will be afforded equal opportunity regardless of their race, ethnicity, veteran status or disability status.
