PMC Senior Process Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for PMC Senior Process Engineer to strengthen our team in Dubai <br><br>People: <br><ul><li> Coaching and mentoring as delegated by the Lead Process Engineer. </li><li> Supervision of graduate engineers or more junior engineers as delegated. </li><li> Provision of performance feedback for delegated direct reports. </li></ul><br> Process Ownership: <br><ul><li> Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific procedures and provide continuous improvement feedback. </li><li> Participate in discipline and project quality audits as required. </li></ul><br> Subject Matter Expertise: <br><ul><li> Demonstrates process technical competence and maintains continuous professional development. </li><li> Provides discipline support to the business. </li><li> Demonstrates awareness of relevant statutory requirements, regulations, standards and codes of practice, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments. </li><li> Provides discipline input relating to project scope definition, project execution and provides assistance during CTR preparation as delegated. </li></ul><br> General: <br><ul><li> Deputizes for Lead as required. </li><li> Supports and supervises tasks delegated to direct reports. </li><li> Executes assigned tasks and personal objectives. </li><li> Management of third party suppliers in the execution of Engineering deliverables as delegated. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Minimum Qualifications <br><ul><li> MSc / MEng in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent professional qualification, or BSc / BEng with extensive relevant experience. </li><li> Membership of a recognized professional institute will be an advantage. </li></ul><br> Minimum Experience <br><ul><li> Minimum of 7years experience in the oil and gas industry. </li><li> Minimum of 5 years proven capability as a Senior Engineer in an engineering design consulting company. </li><li> At least 12 months experience of site-based project work involving either field engineering, or construction, or commissioning,or operations, or maintenance. </li><li> Previous experience of working in the Middle East will be an advantage. </li></ul><br> Knowledge, skills and experience <br><ul><li> Experience with brownfield modification work scopes. </li><li> Experience with upstream oil processing facilities. </li><li> Experience with Sour Service Operations or Design will be an advantage. </li><li> Experience in Concept and FEED project work will be an advantage. </li><li> Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of process engineering design and simulations e.g. development of HMBs, process data sheets, PFDs, PIDs etc. </li><li> Thorough awareness of relevant international codes and standards. </li><li> Familiar with the typical software packages that are used for process engineering design and selection e.g. HYSYS, PIPESIM or equivalent etc. </li><li> Experience in HAZOP, HAZID and SIL studies during the execution of process design deliverables. </li></ul><br> Core Values and Behaviour <br><ul><li> Candidates shall demonstrate what they believe are their core values, ethics policy and leadership style. </li></ul><br> People <br><ul><li> Interact with team members in a positive and professional manner at all times. </li><li> Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred. </li><li> Professional demeanour and interpersonal skills. </li><li> Ability to demonstrate a level of team working skills. </li><li> Enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to learn. </li><li> Flexible with a can-do attitude. </li></ul><br> General Responsibilities <b> : </b><br><ul><li> Fluent in written and spoken forms of English. </li><li> Knowledge of engineering excellence. </li><li> Management and execution of process deliverables. </li><li> Commercial awareness and liaison with project engineers and or managers and other discipline personnel. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
