<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk">SENIOR SPORTS PARTNERSHIPS EXECUTIVE</p><strong>Salary:</strong> £30,000 - £32,000 per annum</p><strong>Contract type:</strong> Permanent, Full-time, 35 hours/week. You will be responsible for events which will not only be remembered by the participants and supporters forever, but will also raise millions of pounds to fund life saving research.</p>This is a flexible role, open to candidates from across the UK, especially those who are looking for varied experiences which will help to develop and shape their careers. This work has a huge impact on Cancer Research UK's overall fundraising efforts, bringing forward the day when all cancers are cured.</p><strong>You will be making an impact everyday by...</strong></p><ul><li>Managing high profile relationships with third party event partners across all events and projects.</p></li><li>Developing networks across the mass participant sports event sector, using them to pitch and negotiate business development opportunities.</p></li><li>Building brand awareness of Sports Team within the Marketing, Fundraising and Events Directorate at CRUK.</p></li><li>Helping to plan acquisition activity for the Sports team's event portfolio across our paid digital and social media channels.</p></li><li>Attending the fantastic events we put on all over the country. Working with internal and external partners and volunteers to create an unforgettable experience for CRUK Supporters.</p></li><li>Ultimately being responsible for an events portfolio which brings in millions of pounds each year including events like London Marathon, RideLondon and the London Landmarks Half Marathon which raise over £1 million annually to help beat cancer sooner.</p></li></ul><strong>You will bring… </strong></p><ul><li>Strong relationship management skills. You will need to have worked with partners to achieve shared outcomes.</p></li><li>Project management/event delivery skills. You will need experience of working within a budget and to strict deadlines.</p></li><li>Knowledge of marketing, specifically of supporter/customers journeys from any industry.</p></li><li>Ideally experience of negotiation and business development.
