Technical Assistant

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood (trading locally as WoodKSS) is looking for a Technical Assistant to join our team in Tengiz (KZ passport holders only). <br><ul><li> Under general supervision, performs both standard and advanced secretarial duties </li><li> Requires skills in spreadsheet and word processing software and thorough knowledge of practices and procedures of the function and company policy and procedures in general </li><li> May use independent judgment in defining methods and procedures to reach an end product for administrative tasks </li><li> Receives visitors, reads and routes incoming mail, and processes paperwork such as invoices, operations reports, purchasing documentation, or related reports </li><li> May be responsible for filing or compiling periodic reports or updating a database </li><li> May make travel arrangements and reservations, schedule appointments, or administer personnel working schedules </li><li> May generate and maintain confidential files and reports </li><li> Standard procedures exist for most duties </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Knowledge in the use of Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint </li><li> Requires good spreadsheet abilities, documentation is to be presented </li><li> 2 - 4 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry </li><li> Experience in Oil & Gas projects </li><li> Good Communication Skills </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
