Senior Engineer, Project Control (DALMA)

<b>Job Purpose</b><br><br>Provides functional support to project controls activities. Responsible for managing and reporting all aspect for cost, budget, schedule, risk, variations, Project performance and accountable for implementation and support of corporate policies, technical standards, guidelines, procedures pertaining to project control during the development and execution of the Project.<br><br><b>Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)</b><br><br>&bull; Supports Value Assurance Process (VAP) framework with focus on Project control at all stages of the Project and assist VAP custodian. Reviews and endorses Project Decision Support Package (DSP).<br> &bull; Monitors and reviews project funding requirements, approval of budget request, project cost revision sheet, authorization for expenditure and contract variation request.<br> &bull; Monitors contract requisitions, material requisitions, tracking invoice payment certificates, contractor timesheets and invoices. Reviews project data and progress on dashboard tool.<br> &bull; Liaises with Finance to monitor periodic expenditure against approved budget and take up any major deviations in expenditure with concerned stakeholders and provide reports for reasons and causes and if needed develop a recovery plan.<br> &bull; Develops realistic Project cost and schedule forecast based on ground realities of the Project.<br> &bull; Reviews and develops Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), cost coding, reporting subsystems, cost and schedule baseline, cost control, value of work, Progress measurement and implementation plans.<br> &bull; Supervises the preparation of project controls technical standards, guidelines and procedures for project development and execution and ensures Project approval are in line with approved Project control Practice of the Company.<br> &bull; Supports in variety of Contract activities including evaluation of contractor / consultant proposals and participates in preparation of Tender Packages and review and assess variations.<br><br><b>Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)</b><br><br><b>Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 3)</b><br><br><b>Generic Accountabilities</b><br><br><b>Supervision</b><br> &bull; Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.<br> &bull; Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.<br> <b>Budgets</b><br> &bull; Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.<br> &bull; Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control<br> <b>Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures</b><br> &bull; Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section's / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.<br> <b>Performance Management</b><br> &bull; Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the function in line with the Company Performance framework.<br> <b>Innovation and Continuous Improvement</b><br> &bull; Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.<br> &bull; Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.<br> <b>Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability</b><br> &bull; Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.<br> <b>Reports</b><br> &bull; Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Management.<br><br><b>Generic Accountabilities (continue)</b><br><br><b>Internal Communications & Working Relationships</b><br><br>Contact with line Manager/ peers and other employees within the company/Group as required<br><br><b>External Communications & Working Relationships</b><br><br>Contact with external parties including consultants, third party service providers, and government agencies as required<br><br><b>Minimum Qualification</b><br><br>Bachelor Degree Engineering or Equivalent Discipline.<br><br><b>Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills</b><br><br>8 years of experience in Projects.<br><br>Revenues/ Budget: As per approved financial budget<br> Direct Reports: As per organization chart<br> Indirect Reports: As per organization chart<br><br><b>Professional Certifications</b><br><br>As applicable<br><br><b>Work Condition, Physical effort & Work Environment</b><br><br><b>Physical Effort</b><br> Minimal<br> <br><b>Work Environment</b><br> A/C environment, could be exposed to the prevailing weather conditions like heat, humidity & dust during occasional site visits.<br><br><b>Additional Details</b><br><br>Job Family / Sub Family: Projects / Project, Facilities & Construction Management<br><br><b>Job Dimension</b><br><br>Revenues/ Budget: As per approved financial budget<br> Direct Reports: As per organization chart<br> Indirect Reports: As per organization chart<br><br>Group Company: ADNOC HQ <br><br>Jun 1, 2022
