As a <b>Data Science Leader</b> (m/f/d), you will focus on the Ultrasonic I nline Inspections ( ILI) technologies, lead Data Science Team algorithm development projects and manage all activities of the Data Science team in <b>German region. </b><br />
<br />
Your job duties will include the below responsibilities:<br />
<br />
&bull; Motivating and building the regional Data Science team to achieve the desired business goals<br />
<br />
&bull; Producing, updating and controlling tool sizing models and performance specifications.<br />
<br />
&bull; Planning and managing projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and scope and delivering projects using internal and external teams<br />
<br />
&bull; Contribute to the design of ultrasound related lab experiments within NTI and tool validation activities, carry out experiments, using NDE standards and norms<br />
<br />
&bull; Provide investigation reports<br />
<br />
&bull; Drive manual expert analysis into automated expert algorithms through NPI project ideas<br />
<br />
&bull; Contribute to the development and the review of ideas for online and offline algorithms and measurement methods used in Ultrasound based ILI tools and in data analysis<br />
<br />
&bull; Contribute to NPI Design reviews and Tollgate reviews where appropriate<br />
<br />
&bull; Assist in project planning and budgeting by contributing to project cost estimates to ensure the required effort is highlighted and quantified<br />
<br />
&bull; Report progress, problems and successes on a regular basis as required by the relevant project manager<br />
<br />
&bull; Lead implementation of sizing model algorithms and vehicle configurations into Software architecture.<br />
<br />
&bull; Support the Dig Verification process and any corrective actions from root cause analysis<br />
<br />

To be successful in this role you:<br />
<br />
&bull; Will have strong leadership skills with 5+ years of experience in data science/engineering and managing data science/engineering teams<br />
<br />
&bull; Have completed a degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent technical discipline<br />
<br />
&bull; Posses strong numerical and problem solving skills used in an engineering context<br />
<br />
&bull; Have a proven track record in a data science leadership role<br />
<br />
