Senior Instrument and Control Engineer

<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS JSC) is currently recruiting for a Senior Instrument and Control engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry (KZ passport holders).<br />

Responsibilities:<br />
<br />
Develop all automation and controls engineering deliverables requirements for the assigned projects<br />
<br />
Review P&amp;IDs, I/O schedules, C&amp;E diagrams, block diagrams, etc. prepared by others, prepare new / modification of existing PAS equipment scope and interact with client to finalize the scope<br />
Develop PAS equipment specifications and engineering drawings<br />
Prepare modification of existing PAS equipment engineering / vendor drawings<br />
Review PAS equipment bidders technical bid and prepare TBE<br />
Review PAS equipment vendor deliverables and provide approval<br />
Manage PAS equipment package<br />
Develop Automation Work Packs<br />
Defining scope for PAS modifications<br />
<br />
Client meeting<br />
P&amp;ID reviews<br />
Control Objectives Analysis reviews (COA&
39;s)<br />
<br />
HAZOPs<br />
Cause &amp; Effect review meetings<br />
<br />
Shall be conversant in Process Control/ESD/F&amp;G philosophies/specifications, different type of instruments, I/O schedules, block diagrams, cause and effects, layouts, loop diagrams, etc.<br />
Possessing technical knowledge on Honeywell, Allen Bradley and HIMA control systems<br />
Participate in safety reviews, HAZOPs and SIL Assessments<br />
Participate in client and contractor technical meeting<br />
Interact with site construction / commissioning / client team and resolve all technical problems<br />
Ensure Safety in design and HSE requirements<br />
Undertake checking and approval activities in accordance with company procedures<br />
Undertake internal QA checks on discipline activities and deliverables<br />
Assignments usually include the following - either directly or supervising:<br />
Control theories and application<br />

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b><br />
<br />
Significant experience, with previous work history associated with Brownfield automation modifications<br />
Working knowledge of GOST and SNiPs<br />
<br />
Good Communication Skills<br />
Good English level<br />
<br />
Minimum of 6 years experience in Instrumentation and automation field<br />
<br />
Engineering degree<br />
