THE OPPORTUNITY Due to ongoing development of Janssen’s industry-leading pipeline in Oncology, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our Oncology team. This is a newly created role that will support our Solid Tumours portfolio, encompassing genitourinary and lung cancer. Our vision at Janssen Oncology is the elimination of cancer. As a Senior Medical Science Liaison - Solid Tumours, you will build partnerships with leading clinical experts to help shape current and future treatments in genitourinary and lung cancer to help realise this vision based upon strong science, putting patients at the centre. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Engage and develop peer-to-peer relationships with therapeutic area experts in genitourinary and lung cancer Interpret complex scientific & clinical data and engage in scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, gathering actionable insights into current and future treatment pathways and clinical trends Help identify and address medical education and evidence generation needs Work as part of a broader cross-functional team to deliver value to our customers and patients Qualifications IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU To be considered for this role you will have a track-record demonstrating the following: Prior experience as an MSL or similar customer-facing role in Medical Affairs strongly preferred Deep scientific or clinical knowledge, ideally with a background in Oncology Strong customer focus and sense of urgency Ability to build relationships by understanding and meeting the professional needs of health care professionals Persuasive communicator & presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills Medical Degree or PhD qualified desirable COMPANY CULTURE You will be rewarded through a competitive remuneration package along with continuous training, support and award-winning leadership development programs.
