Senior Tender Engineer

What will you do? Responsible for providing pre-sales technical support/expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort Responsible for administrating, consulting and/or negotiating product/service contracts with external customers. Structure proposals/contracts/bid documents. Negotiates contracts that are consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes. Ensures fulfilment of contractual obligations from contracting parties. Understand customer needs; define technical part of customer project opportunity, or on a complete project opportunity when in a single technical application domain. Manage technical requirements and get firm proposals from selected suppliers. In his/her area of responsibility, deliver technical offer proposal documents and provide the necessary reporting to the tender stakeholders. Analyze RFQs (Request for Quotation) and prepare costing as per standard process and tools. Prepare offer documentation consistent with validated data provided by commercial support sales & opportunity team (in bFO). Perform simple risk analysis. Offers can be either stand-alone local tender (Cat.
