Schlumberger is the leading provider of technology and services to the energy industry across the world <br><br><b>Experienced Diesel Heavy Vehicle Mechanic</b><br><br>Location: Moomba, SA<br> <br> Type of contract: Permanent<br><br>To support our Schlumberger Wireline operations in Australasia, we are currently looking for <b>an Experienced Diesel Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.</b><br> <br> <b>This is a FIFO work to Moomba base and flight covered from Adelaide airport only.</b><br><br><b>Essential Responsibilities and Duties:</b><br> <br> Preparation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high technology Reservoir Performance (Fracturing, Pumping and Wireline equipment) used in the upstream oil and gas industry. Responsibilities during times of maintenance and job execution, as well as providing technical expertise to the maintenance and operations team. <br> <ul> <li> Ensure on-time delivery of equipment (Including Heavy and support vehicles) as per operational demands</li> <li> Improve the equipment reliability of the Segment's assets within the location</li> <li> Ensure all assigned equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures</li> <li> Improve asset availability by reducing waiting for maintenance and or parts</li> <li> Participate in failure investigations</li> <li> Execute Maintenance Strategy and Standard Work adherence</li> <li> Responsible to support Continuous Improvement culture</li> <li> Utilize maintenance business systems for equipment traceability and recording</li> <li> Reduce Cost of Service Delivery at the location</li> <li> Follow fixed-step training program and ensure personnel training is on schedule and accurately recorded</li> </ul> <br><br>Requirements:<br> <ul> <li> Must have full right to live and work in Australia including offshore</li> <li> No travel restrictions</li> <li> Have a <b>Mechanic Trade and Diploma Certification</b></li> <li> Must have <b>minimum 3 years' experience</b> handling heavy and light vehicles</li> <li> Preferable to have experience with NHVAS (National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme)</li> <li> Preferable to have Well versed in diesel engines, transmissions, heavy trucks (example Kenworth, Western star)</li> <li> Hands of experience with hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and automotive low voltage (DC Voltage)</li> <li> Highly self-motivated</li> <li> Competent computer skills</li> <li> Can work in a high-pressure environment, learn quickly and adapts to new problems and situations</li> <li> Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organization, and a good communicator</li> <li> Good English written and verbal communication skills essential</li> <li> Good interpersonal skills</li> <li> Available to start as soon as possible</li> </ul> <ul> <li> Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organization, and a good communicator</li> <li> Available for Immediate start</li> </ul> <br><br><b>Application:</b><br> <br> Please apply via this advertisement and upload detailed resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and work experience.<br> <br> Only successful applicants that meet the above criteria will be contacted<b>.</b><br><br>Schlumberger is an equal employment opportunity employer.
