<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>Salary - £29, 927 - £35, 794 pro rata<br />Hours - Full-time (with potential to consider part-time)<br />Location - City Road EC1 with hybrid working pattern <br />Benefits - Excellent package including 27 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro-rata)<br /><br />Are you a fundraiser with a passion for healthcare? <br /><br />You will play an important part in building philanthropy at a leading eye hospital charity to help meet the aims of our <br />ambitious five-year business plan for growth, including securing philanthropic income for Oriel - our £100m joint <br />fundraising campaign with UCL. Your work will also support world-leading eye research, and education along with <br />patient care, to provide life-changing eye health for millions of people in the UK and around the world.<br /><br />About the role<br /><br />Your work managing a portfolio of prospects capable of making major gifts (£10k- £50k) will help us deliver our strategy. <br />You will also create bespoke cultivation and solicitation plans that utilise medical staff, researchers, volunteers and senior <br />leadership of the leading eye hospital and UCL.<br /><br />By developing materials to support the campaign and preparing proposals for individual prospects you will help develop <br />our donor relationships. You will also ensure that gift pledges are fulfilled on schedule and prepare progress reports for donors. <br /><br />This is a role that will require you to build strong relationships with consultants and researchers to gather information <br />on health-related projects as well as gain their involvement in the identification, cultivation and stewardship of major donors. <br /><br />About you <br /><br />You will be a confident, self-starter with relationship fundraising experience or commercial experience, where you can <br />demonstrate managing major funding relationships. <br /><br />You will have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relationships and influence and lead others.
