Based on site in Whittlesey, they are at the forefront of key design and development supporting key manufacturing customers in Automotive, Medical, Electronic and Green Energy sectors plus many others.</p><p>Using the latest C.A.D software they design and develop solutions with corrugated material from &lsquo;E&rsquo; flute to heavy duty &lsquo;Triple wall&rsquo; and often include complimentary materials at the forefront of sustainability including Hexacomb and timber as part of their bespoke design solution.</p><p>A team player with initiative and creative flair, someone who wants to be part of a dynamic and innovative team working alongside their customers to develop the perfect packaging solution. Full training will be given by the existing Senior Designer to help develop the skills required for the industry.</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p><ul><li>Independently create, develop and present packaging solutions</li><li>Understand the overall objectives of our client and make prototypes, 3D visuals and specifications</li><li>Generate new ideas for the business and translate them into design solutions</li><li>Understand our wide range of production and assembly manufacturing facilities</li><li>Support sales and visit customers to demonstrate and relationship build whilst showcasing new design solutions</li><li>Present to internal and external clients when required</li><li>Develop relationships with external packaging component suppliers and work with then to reach the final design solution</li><li>Develop graphics on 3D design presentations</li><li>Cut and make design samples ready for clients</li><li>Pack and wrap samples ready for dispatch and meet customer deadlines</li></ul></p><p><b>Ideal experience:</b></p><p><ul><li>Experienced with C.A.D, graphics and 3D software packages or willing to learn</li><li>Demonstrate an ability to understand the insights behind designs</li><li>Quick to learn and develop new ideas</li><li>Dare to challenge and look for new solutions</li><li>Great Interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Prepared to work to strict deadlines and manage project timelines</li><li>Prepared to meet and discuss design solutions with customers either via technology or physical meetings.</li><li>The ability to collaborate effectively with other teams</li></ul></p><p>INDJOB</p>
