<b>POSITION INFORMATION</b><br />
<br />
<b>Support Accountabilities:</b></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Participate in all aspects of the safety program (e.g. safety meetings, ILP investigations, site inspections, audits, tool box talks, etc.)</li>
<li>Support and follow the safety program</li>
<li>Ensure permits and FLRA&
39;s are completed before starting work</li>
<li>Work within the CHEPTW system, and issue permits as required.</li>
<li>Support witnessing of ITP hold points</li>
<li>Pre-commissioning and Commissioning support.</li>
<li>Support walk downs and punch verification</li>
<li>PSSR field checks as required</li>
<li>Vendor assistance as required</li>
<li>Assist in field verification of all commissioning procedures and checklists</li>
<li>Ensure proper training requirements</li>
<li>Field verifying all commissioning procedures and checklists.</li>
<li>Installation/demobilization of temporary equipment and fittings</li>
<li>Operates running equipment</li>
<li>Checks that areas under operations are controlled properly (signage, cleanliness, access)</li>

<li>Start-up and commissioning support (leak checks, O2 free, purging, specialty cleaning and flushing, Pump run-ins, IST checks, inventory chemicals, lubricants, seal fluids, compressor testing, refractory dry outs, testing, flare lighting, pacifications, EHT testing, warm ups, level equipment testing, baselines, control valve stroking, removal of temp strainers and witches hats, etc.)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ability to restart equipment after shutdowns</li>
<li>Ability to work with pressurized and hazardous products</li>
<li>Working knowledge of DCS/PLC</li>
<li>Ability to read and follow P&amp;ID&
39;s, isometrics, and schematic drawings</li>
<li>Piping knowledge is a strong asset</li>
<li>Monitor equipment during start up and fill out required documentation</li>
<li>Able to work independently without supervision</li>
<li>Able to create a clear, concise punch deficiency list</li>
<li>Equipment walkdowns and detailed inspections</li>
</ul>

<b>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b><br />

<b>Education and Experience:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Power Engineering Certificate - 4th Class or equivalent experience</li>
<li>5 years of field experience in similar Commissioning roles in both Brownfield and/or Greenfield Projects</li>
<li>Strong Interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in a variety of Industrial backgrounds</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of OH&amp;S Regulations</li>
<li><b>Experience leading small teams would be considered an asset</b></li>
<li><b>Ability to communicate in English considered a strong asset</b></li>
</ul>
