Taiwan Ratings Corporation The Role: Research Assistant (Structured Finance & Funds Ratings) The Location: Taipei, Taiwan The Team: The primary responsibility of Structured Finance & Funds Ratings is to provide the independent, timely and forward-looking view about the creditworthiness of the structured finance instruments as well as the fixed-income funds in Taiwan. The team will also publish the relevant commentaries as well as conduct the market outreaches. The Impact: This position will not only provide the critical information for the rating analysts to further conduct the rating analysis, but also enhance the quality of analytical works. Additionally, this position is to help reduce senior analysts’ burden on operations, regulatory, and compliance procedures and controls. What’s in it for you: The position can proceed to the analyst level after proper training and analytical experience in some period. The position can explore our rating methodologies and the senior analysts’ experience. The position can broaden a global vision. Responsibilities: Data collection and basic credit analysis Financial data and report inputs Commentary preparation Meeting arrangement and investor/issuer communication Other operational assignment What We’re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: Good command at English in both written and oral communication Bachelor or master degree with a major in business administration, accounting, or finance Familiarization with Microsoft Office software (with knowledge on basic Excel functions) Proactive, patient and detail oriented Effective time management Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of working experience in the finance industry CFA level one or higher Coding skill Notes: Monthly salary for this position might under be TWD40,000, depending on work experience.
