<p><strong>Schedule: 5/2 Rotation (5 days on 2 days off)</strong></p>

<p><strong>Hours: 9 to 12-hour days (Rotational Weekend Call Outs Required)</strong></p>

<p><strong>Pay: For this role depends on experience within the range $35 - $39</strong></p>

<p><strong><u>Compensation will also include: </u></strong></p>

<p><strong><u>Hierarchy Breakdown:</u></strong></p>

<p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Directly to the Electrical Foreman for the Jal, NM Area</p>

<p><strong>Works Directly Alongside:</strong> All Electrical Crews and Personnel working in his or her field.</p>

<p><strong><u>Top Focus of this Position:</u></strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Continual Field Maintenance and Troubleshooting of circuit breakers, limit switches, overload relays, motor starters, and electrical control circuits in an Upstream environment.</li>
<li>Has Knowledge and Understands Tank Battery Facilities</li>
</ul>

<p><strong><u>Electrical Field Technician will have Knowledge and Ability to Perform the Following:</u></strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Able to utilize technical skills to troubleshoot production instrumentation, electronics, and electrical components.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot pump panels at a tank battery facility</li>
<li>Installs, repairs, or replaces 120V AC/DC motors, as well as hydraulic and gas electrical controls.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of control circuits in PLC switches</li>
<li>Provide field instrumentation support for all process equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, electronic systems)</li>
<li>Installs, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting, and alternative electrical parts.</li>
<li>Tests electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Experience troubleshooting motor starters and VFD&
39;s/VSD&
39;s. maintance for 5 years for petroleum. 2000- 2010</li>
<li>Able to do electrical equipment installations, inspections, and troubleshooting tasks to maximize production and enhance the reliability of the operation.</li>
<li>Recognize malfunctions in individual equipment and perform maintenance as necessary to correct problems.</li>
<li>Familiar with installing, swapping, and testing single to three-phase motors.</li>
<li>Tests and commissions integrated and non-integrated electrical systems, i.e. switchgear, network relays.</li>
<li>Ability to use megger and multimeter.</li>
<li>Use reference documentation to size conductors, overload, and short circuit protection.</li>
<li>Operate and perform activities in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures (Federal, State, and local policies and procedures).</li>
<li>Must be willing to undergo background check and driving record check.</li>
<li>Must be willing and able to pass DOT drug screening / physical.</li>
<li>A minimum of 4-year Electrician experience is required</li>
<li>A minimum of 2-years Upstream experience is required</li>
<li>Journeyman&
39;s Electrician License Preferred</li>
</ul>
