<p>We are seeking a Compliance Officer to aid our team of experienced consultants and ensure that our reputation for rigorous Safeguarding procedures is upheld.</p>
<p><b>The Role</b></p>
<p>You’ll be providing Compliance support for a team of our consultants.</p>
<p>This will involve:</p>
<ul>
<li> Obtaining required candidate documents to ensure that relevant Safeguarding Checks can be carried out in line with Safer Recruitment Guidelines</li>
<li>Reviewing candidate employment histories and applying for references</li>
<li>Diary management, to ensure verification calls are conducted swiftly and efficiently</li>
<li>Liaising with candidates and schools to answer any queries relating to compliance</li>
<li>Completing Vetting Checks for candidates prior to interview</li>
<li>Maintaining accurate and detailed compliance records under GDPR</li>
<li>Applying for DBS checks and reviewing as needed</li>
<li>Ensuring any potential Safeguarding issues are investigated and reported Report to the Senior Compliance officer and help with any additional admin work</li>
</ul>
<p>There are further opportunities to develop and take a lead on various areas including Social Media,  Wellbeing, Staff Social Events .</p>
<p><b>The Offer</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Basic salary from £18K to £24K (dependent on experience)</li>
<li>Compliance Bonus available after successful completion of probationary period</li>
<li>25 days’ holidays + public holidays + reduced working hours during school holidays</li>
<li>Working hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm Term time / 10.00am-3.00pm Holiday time</li>
<li>Flexibility to work from home, with access to a London office and regular team meeting/socials</li>
<li>Comprehensive training for the role and wider Safeguarding requirements</li>

<p><b>The Person</b></p>
<ul>
<li>A bright and engaging individual with excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Confident and able to quickly establish rapport with candidates and clients</li>
<li>The ability to guide a team and ensure processes are adhered to</li>
<li>Strong organisation skills and an eye for detail</li>
<li>The ability to prioritise and follow your own initiative</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Pro-active and positive, with a great sense of humour</li>
<li>Previous experience in compliance would be beneficial but not compulsory</li>
