PowerBack Rehabilitation centers meet the needs of post-acute patients by providing skilled nursing, medical and rehabilitation therapy, and highly personalized care plans designed to get patients home sooner. As our Guest Services Specialist, your primary goal is to ensure that all patients/residents (customers) have a positive experience while in our stay, receiving the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes the individuals' needs and rights. Position Highlights Promote Guest Services involvement based on the needs and interests of the patient/resident, preferences and life history Provide input into the design of events, offerings and activities and assist in the planning of Guest Services opportunities. Plan and organize daily tasks and schedules. Facilitate group and individual activities for customers of various cognitive and physical abilities in all component areas, e.g., physical, cognitive, social, spiritual, creative, wellness, sensory, community, and service. Participate in the formulation and follow through of the patient/resident care plan. Why Genesis? SGS1 QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor degree in therapeutic recreation preferred or completion of NAAP/NCCAP Basic and Advanced Management Course for Activity Professionals * Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the center, by the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals (ADC) or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification (CTRS) * Two years' experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, health care setting preferred *To protect the health and safety of our patients, residents, employees, family members, and the communities we serve, Genesis has implemented a universal COVID-19 vaccination requirement for employees, care partners and onsite vendors.
