<p>CONTEXT:</p>

<p>Responsible for supervising well intervention operations on all the assets within the business, ensuring compliance with UK Oil &amp; Gas regulations, client Company rules and guidelines. Duties will be performed in a shift format (dayshift/nightshift).</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Responsible for collaborating with other disciplines (Drilling, Production, Field Operations and Construction) to ensure that operational, safety and commercial performances are optimized.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Responsible for supervision, operational decisions, communication, planning/logistics, collaboration, costs and safety throughout well intervention activities on site.</p>

<p>MAIN ACTIVITIES:</p>

<p>This position is &

39;Safety Critical&quot;: First contact in the &
39;&
39;Chain of Command&
39;&
39; and occasionally acts as RSES-D for vessel operations.</p>

<p>Directly responsible for offshore well interventions (i.e. Production safeguarding, optimization and restoration operations).</p>

<p>Directly responsible for ensuring good operational cost performance (up to ?20M per operation).</p>

<p>Directly responsible for up to 30 service contractor personnel and junior offshore client personnel. Capable of working outside the normal scope of offshore well interventions:</p>

<p>Performs the role of the WTI Superintendent when required - Oversees all types of Completion/Welltest operations, Acts as Company rep on drilling rigs and vessels when required, Knowledgeable and capable of supervising complex WH/XT offshore scopes</p>

<p>Demonstrates personal commitment to client HSE Policy and provides technical well support within the emergency response team.</p>

<p>Actively participates in company safety management tools ensuring these are utilized during intervention activities.</p>

<p>Controls work by ensuring Interventions are carried out as per the programme of work under a PTW, with all associated risks captured, including emergency preparedness. Conducts emergency drills with the offshore team.</p>

<p>Ensure continuous reporting of safety and environmental concerns/incidents within his/her team. Communicates safety alerts.</p>

<p>Offshore focal point for Safety, technical and operational aspects of well intervention operations across all client assets and MODU (Covering a wide range of interventions; Pumping, Stimulation, Coiled tubing, Slickline, Wireline, Well Maintenance, Well Integrity, E-line and snubbing operations). Financial oversight and accountability for equipment, personnel and processes during the job execution phase.</p>

<p>Drives a continuous performance improvement culture within the offshore team and communicates appropriately with the onshore team. - Captures and communicates lessons learned with onshore, service company and other stakeholders - Provides input to the WTI KPI and CPI database, benchmarks operations against &
39;&
39;best composite&
39;&
39; performance - Updates Well status in WIMS - Closes out any highlighted improvement actions.</p>

<p>Involved in the identification and resolution of well integrity problems. Acts on any well abnormalities, under the instruction of the Well Intervention Superintendent / integrity department and initiates remedial actions to maintain well safety and availability.</p>

<p>Ensure thorough and factual operational reporting and EOIR (End of Intervention Report) using the WELLVIEW reporting system.</p>

<p>Ensure streamlined operational and logistic planning by creating and distributing a structured planning documents to all stake holders. Organizing equipment and personnel movements in-line with the operational plan.</p>

<p>Performs onshore roles when required: - Preparing and reviewing Intervention and completion programmes of work. - Acting Intervention Superintendent - Writing operational/technical reports. - Vetting/overseeing onshore equipment testing. - Participating in HAZID/HAZOP and onshore risk assessments. - Participating in contractor site/process technical and safety audits - Preparation of Bridging Documents</p>

<p>SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>The job holder should be educated to HNC or equivalent as a minimum. Have cognate industry training and be able to demonstrate capacity, experience and technical know-how in well intervention activities. Have significant experience in the oil industry. Knowledgeable and experienced in managing a diverse team, logistics, SIMOPS, and all safety, health and environmental aspects of offshore operation supervision. Fluent in spoken &amp; written English is compulsory. Fluency in spoken &amp; written French is desirable but not essential.</p>
