The role reports to the EM Source category lead of SC procurement Consumer Health based in Singapore. The role is to support network strategies that leverage external manufacturing footprints that unlock growth and to facilitate the engagements with the key EMs in located in North Asia and those located outside of Asia Pacific region. As such this role requires a broad and deep set of competencies and skills around J&J’s business, sourcing strategy development, strategic sourcing experience, solid end-to-end Supply Chain comprehension, market intelligence and strong financial skills. [Responsibilities] 1. Support Supply Network Design and Sourcing Strategy - Become expert in the technology area by developing in-depth knowledge about External Manufacturing network (capabilities, strengths, weaknesses) - Become the point of contact in the technology area for Industry intelligence and trends, including OTC, liquid and cream, wipes and Soap, co-packer - Recommend, align and execute approved sourcing strategies for the specific technology area - Suggest improvements and shape our end to end network to achieve best supply chain performance 2. Access to Innovation - Facilitate efforts to identify and implement product or technology innovation from External Manufacturers that fuel profitable growth and franchise ambitions of new product launch - Provide support for new products to be contract manufactured through identification and recommendation of best supplier aligned with the demand from the GFO, Regional Supply Chain, as well as optimization of product design 3. Cost and Complexity Reduction - Lead efforts to identify and implement cost and complexity reduction opportunities with Internal Stakeholders and External Manufacturers (eg, Contractor consolidation) - Support the financial Business Plan through forecast of yearly price changes, tracking of Cost Improvement Program, and identify best option for the investment at our EM 4. Supplier Relationship Management - Accountable for the identification, implementation and tracking of Continuous Improvement initiatives at External Manufacturers - Accountable for crisis resolution through early escalation and deployment of internal resources 5. Compliance to J&J requirements - Ensure External Manufacturer compliance towards all J&J requirements (Reach, Financial Sarbanes-Oxley, Health & Safety, Quality, Environment, QA etc) through deployment of internal resources [Requirements] - University degree in Business, Operations/Logistics, Engineering, Science - 7-10 years relevant work experience - Analytical and Process oriented - Commercial, Strategy Development, and Negotiations skills - Results oriented and able to independently create and deliver - Project Management experience - Communication and presentation skills - Decision Making / Problem Solving - Commercial Agreements/Legal knowledge - Quick adaptability to changes and new environment - Ability to work effectively under pressure Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.
