Service Appointment Coordinator

AutoNation Nissan Las Vegas Position Overview The service appointment coordinator receives all incoming service calls at a high volume call center, establishes relationships with the customers and schedules appointments for the Service Department.     What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Provide and ensure exceptional customer service Managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner Identifying customer’s needs, clarify information, research every issue and providing solutions Maintain accurate and detailed notes on all customer interactions Ensure the service consultants receive messages promptly Promptly and accurately complete daily follow up and scheduled tasks Data input into a web-based program Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of personal work areas Abide by policies and procedures of the Employee Handbook Perform other tasks as assigned or requested   What are the requirements for this job? High school diploma or equivalent One to two years of call center experience (preferred) Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice Proficiency with computers, and strong typing skills Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations Strong time management and decision making skills Adaptability and accountability 10am to 7pm shift, split days off Company Overview As America’s largest and most recognized automotive retailer, AutoNation is transforming the automotive industry through its bold leadership, innovation, and comprehensive brand extensions.
