<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br><b> Job ID: 2022-106280</b> <br><br> <b> Position: Production Technician</b> <br><br> <b> Location: Seal Sands</b> <br><br> <b> Start Date: ASAP</b> <br><br> <b> Duration: </b><b>Perm</b> <br><br><b> Roles and Responsibilities: </b> <br><br><ul><li> Comply with all relevant Wood HSSE policies and proceduresCarry out the execution of all work activities safely and in accordance with plans, control of work system and with the requirement of the task. </li><li> Operate the process plant and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with relevant regulatory and client specific policies, procedures and performance standards. </li><li> Fulfil all tasks as requested by the client, in accordance with the relevant training and competency framework. </li><li> Primary role is acting as a Production Technician, however previous Control room operator experience would be desirable. </li><li> Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all site equipment ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly. </li><li> Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out/apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques. </li><li> Carry out and participate in root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability. </li><li> Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective handovers are carried out at shift change. </li><li> Identify and propose ideas and solutions aimed at increasing efficiency in cost or time without loss or integrity and present ideas to relevant management. </li><li> Support team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices. </li><li> Support turnaround preparation and execution as required. </li><li> Deliver against agreed KPI's </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Minimum experience: </b> <br> Minimum of 5 years oil and gas experience. <br><br><b> Role specific skills: </b> <br> Demonstrate the ability to apply theory in practical context. <br> Be able to demonstrate team working skills <br> Manage skill requirements to fulfil any additional tasks as requested by the client. <br> Possess strong interpersonal skills. <br> Have the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation. <br><br> Self Starter with exposure in creation of permitry paperwork. <br><br><b> Preferred Qualifications: </b> <br> Time served Production Technician or extensive experience in this field. <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
