POSITION SUMMARY •Responsible to develop the Medical Affairs product strategy through the analysis of medical needs collected from all internal & external stakeholders of the therapeutic area (pulmonary hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases) •Responsible for leading MAF studies / publications in alignment with brand strategy •Day to day project management for activities based on the Medical Affairs Plan in responsible disease areas •Responsible to improve the performance of the team and provide technical direction to a work group •Provide personal expertise, as well as project leadership in a cross functional project •Resolves difficult and often complex situations or problems using in-depth professional knowledge or experience. •Serves as an advisor to others on complex matters. •Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals. •Responsible to improve the performance and motivae the team and team members. •Develops and implements new processes, standards or operational plans that will impact business results. •Provide project leadership as a subject matter expert in a cross divisional/country project EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL INTERACTIONS The role involves extensive interactions with : •Domestic and international KOLs in responsible therapeutic area. •Global and regional leadership team •Other local management board members •Sales and Marketing leaders in Janssen Pharmaceutical KK(JPKK) •New Product Planning, R&D, PV, PMS and Regulatory Affairs leaders in JPKK •All Medical Affairs leaders and members ROLE •Driving functional excellence and alignment •Driving customer focus •Leading entire Therapeutic Area(TA) activities by providing clinical direction and strong leadership •Develop close relationship with Thought Leaders in the TA (TOP KOL Management) •Developing the Disease Area strategy aligned with the brand strategy under supervision of TA Director •Managing evidence generation / publication in align with brand strategy in a compliant manner of internal and external regulations •Managing MAF intiated clinical/non-clinical study •Day to day project management (lead) for MAF activities, report the progress to internal stakeholders •Gathering and analyzing medical needs through communication with HCPs •Analyzing medical needs and gaps based on inqueries and providing appropriate information to product strategy •Support MR medical knowledge trainings in collaboration with Senior Leadership Team. Qualifications EDUCATION •BA/BS Required •Doctorate (PhD in medicine or life science) Required •MBA or other Medical License Desirable RELATED EXPERIENCE •Work experience of 3-5 years in MAF, R&D of pharmaceutical industry. •Work experience of 3-5 years in specific TA is preferred. •Deep understanding of local regulatory policy and industry’s code of practice related to drug registration, pharmaceutical promotion and clinical study is preferred •Understanding on operations and execution of clinical studies is preffered.
