THE OPPORTUNITY The Janssen Medical Affairs team are passionate about innovation, quality and patient personalisation. In this newly created role the Manager, Medical Education will seek to learn new ways to identify and align on strategies for targeted medical educational needs for our Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to enable them to best achieve positive results for patients. Reporting to the Medical Affairs Director, Medical Excellence for Janssen ANZ, you will work together to identify, implement and empower your team to continue to build capability and operational efficiency towards achieving a best-in-class medical education offering ,ensuring all events and materials fully comply with Company requirements (such as HCC/HCBI) and the Medicines Australia or Medicines New Zealand Code of Conduct. RESPONSIBILITIES Work with relevant stakeholders to integrate an omnichannel approach to our educational offering that aligns with the company’s omnichannel strategy Understand the strategic business priorities and initiatives and covert into actionable projects with a clear indication of deliverables, timeframes and outcomes Ensure all events and materials are fully complaint with internal and external requirements Identify the principles, capabilities and / or learning management systems which could be implemented into our medical education offering by our brand teams to drive high attendee/ customer retention across an educational cycle Oversee the medical education team’s delivery on the medical education plans for each Therapy Area by actively managing compliance, resources, timelines and budget and work Working with the Medical Advisors and broader cross-functional team to plan, organise and deliver medical education events for Janssen by project managing assigned educational events and advisory boards, and providing input into initiatives and innovations that improve and differentiate our medical education offering including omnichannel and customer journey orchestration and adult learning principles Manage your team’s annual performance goals, measures and development plans Qualifications IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU Previous solid experience in people management and development Tertiary qualification in business, science, medicine, pharmacy, life science or pharmaceutical degree Proven experience in event and/or project management Solid stakeholder management skills and achieving business deliverables Strong understanding of the Australian Healthcare System Understanding of local and international health policy issues COMPANY CULTURE You will be rewarded through a competitive remuneration package along with continuous training, support and award-winning leadership development programs.
