Distribution Center Unarmed Security Guard

SUMMARY: AutoZone Guards are responsible for the security of assigned AutoZone facilities, company employees, visitors and Company assets. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized entry onto premises and into facility Develop and maintain professional relations with AutoZoners and visitors and ensures appropriate courtesy to everyone Ensure optimal levels of communication with AutoZoners and visitors and properly document required information Interacts with over-the-road drivers and AutoZone drivers Answers phones and directs incoming calls Utilizes current warehouse systems to check in and stage incoming freight Documents visitors to facility and issues parking permits to visitors and temporary employees Ensures compliance with security and safety procedures Performs other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED Willing to work any days/nights and hours as needed to include weekends and holidays, and unforeseen extended shifts Ability to perform successfully in an unsupervised environment Good telephone, verbal and written communication and comprehension skills Good people skills Dependable and prompt
