Workshop Mechanic, XT & WOS

<b>For Aker Solutions in Congo we are looking for 4 Workshop Technician (ROV Tie-In). </b><br><br> What will you be doing?<ul><li>Conduct electrical and hydraulic testing / SRT on XT / EDP / LRP equipment and tooling</li><li>Preparation of equipment for load - out to MOHO NORD project</li><li>Carry out regular periodic maintenance and preservation of workshop and subsea equipment.</li><li>Ensure that facilities and equipment are correctly operated and report any deviations to his / her supervisor</li><li>Ensure that equipment is used and storage correctly to present unnecessary loss or damage</li><li>Assess equipment failures to determine underlying causes and develop action plans to quickly restore equipment operating conditions. Report deviations and damages, including unwanted incidents</li><li>Help on other priority task where need, according to the best of his / her capabilities</li><li>Follow workshop best practice and applicable procedures</li><li>Ability and willingness for periodic & sporadic offshore assignments w/ ca 90:10% split</li></ul>We think you should have:<ul><li>Good knowledge of spoken and written English for communication, additional French language skills and advantage</li><li>User-level information Technology</li><li>Able to Manage stress, priorities, and deadlines</li><li>Assertive and proactive attitude toward identifying errors and taking the appropriate corrective measures, report observed or suspected discrepancies, abuses, conflicts of interest or corruption</li><li>Open and approachable with impeccable professional ethics and personal discipline</li><li>Flexible, willing, and able adapt to change</li><li>A minimum of 5-10 years? relevant work experience in this position or similar, with at least 5 years experience with subsea equipment vendor / manufacturer / services provider. Offshore experience an advantage.
