Well Test Operator

<p>We currently have an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Well Test Operator </strong>at our Clients <strong>New Iberia, LA </strong>location. The <strong>Well Test Operator </strong>will work with the Field Manager to prepare for, perform duties to complete the project retained to do, demob, and attend post-operations meetings.</p>

<p><strong>Position Details: </strong></p>

<p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p>

<p>&bull; To assist in all aspects of field operations to a high standard in accordance with Our Clients and the customer&
39;s requirements.</p>

<p>&bull; To work with safety as a top priority in order to minimize accidents and incidents.</p>

<p>&bull; Generate field Job Safety Analysis reports.</p>

<p>&bull; Assist with maintenance on all equipment.</p>

<p>&bull; To continually improve personal knowledge and experience.</p>

<p>&bull; To maintain a high standard of housekeeping, good discipline and respect for peers and superiors.</p>

<p>&bull; To utilize stop work authority when an unsafe or unclear work situation is encountered.</p>

<p>&bull; Effective verbal and written communication skills.</p>

<p>&bull; Common knowledge of electronic and computer skills.</p>

<p>&bull; Working with high pressure and hazardous chemicals.</p>

<p>&bull; Able to manage multiple, concurrent projects.</p>

<p>&bull; Willingness to learn and share assignments.</p>

<p>&bull; Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.</p>

<p>&bull; Effectively deal with deadlines and changing priorities.</p>

<p>&bull; Ensures completion of at least one (1) Personnel Evaluation by a higher-ranking employee per month.</p>

<p>&bull; Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.</p>

<p>Education &amp; Licensing:</p>

<p>&bull; High School Diploma/GED required; college preferred</p>

<p>Offshore Certificates (TWIC, Medical, HUET etc)</p>

<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</strong></p>

<p>&bull; Must have working knowledge of MS Office.</p>

<p>&bull; Professional demeanour and willingness to learn.</p>

<p>&bull; Professional peer cooperation.</p>

<p>&bull; Attention to detail. (E.g., field notes, observations, etc.).</p>

<p><strong>Travel:</strong></p>

<p>&bull; To and from job sites or docks in a vehicle where transported to the rig site by boat or helicopter</p>

<p>Working Conditions:</p>

<p>&bull; While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly conducting work in a shop and offshore environment. On a regular basis, there may be exposure to plant areas, onshore industrial job sites, and offshore industrial job sites which include exposure to all outside weather conditions as well as loud noise from equipment and dust from production processes.</p>
