Senior Electrical I&C Engineer (Site)

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is looking for a site based <b>Senior Electrical I & C Engineer</b> who aspires to be part of a team, delivering powerful results. Initially this role will be based on site (DIDO or Local) with an opportunity to join a new project after completion of this role back in our Perth Office. We look for innovative ideas and an agile approach to deliver the best possible outcomes and offer you an opportunity to progress and thrive by working collectively and making an active contribution. <br><br>Join our collaborative team, working side by side with a global specialist chemicals company on a new and innovative project in the growing Lithium resources market during the construction phase of this world class processing facility. The Lithium Hydroxide plant is being constructed at the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area approximately 160 km south of Perth, Western Australia and 17 km north-east of the thriving regional centre of Bunbury. <br><br><b> As a site based engineer you will; </b> <br><ul><li> Provide technical support to the completions and construction teams </li><li> Be independent in problem solving in the field </li><li> Interface/manage site works contractors </li><li> Liaise with Engineering support in Perth where needed </li><li> Review vendor documentation </li><li> Interpret 3D and 2D design deliverables </li><li> Be accountable for the quality of deliverables in line with the needs of the customer and regulatory authorities </li><li> Conduct work in a safe environment and ensure zero harm outcomes </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Appropriate Engineering Degree </li><li> Membership or eligibility for membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia </li><li> 7+ years' experience in the resources industry </li><li> Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a small team and meet deadlines </li><li> Sound technical engineering knowledge </li><li> Ability to problem-solve effectively </li><li> Effective communication skills </li><li> Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills </li><li> Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets </li><li> Strong understanding of relevant Australian standards, International standards </li></ul><br><br>Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role and be triple vaccinated or have a valid exemption. <br><br>If you're an experienced <b>Senior EI&C Engineer</b>, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
