You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide product guidance and scope for new requisitions . You will also be working and learning with the biggest names in the energy industry. Providing downhole equipment technical expertise for the completions, remediation and abandonment phases. <br><br>As a Well Intervention Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Providing technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases.</li><li>Conducting all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance and Baker Hughes Core values</li><li>Evaluating system and component performance in their application. Monitoring for trends and initiate actions to improve reliability/durability/cost </li><li>Reducing capital expense and minimizing risk with the implementation of best in class well intervention equipment</li><li>Executing new tool product launches for clients, potentially on-site</li><li>Providing ongoing support to assist operations in providing effective solutions while optimizing the well intervention process</li><li>Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting</li><li>Training and developing field engineers</li><li>Maximizing our customers' return on investment</li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will have:<br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience</li><li> Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Well Intervention and operations </li><li>Be able to work well on a cross functional team while supporting operations and engineering across all US basins</li><li>Be proficient in computer processing, such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and relevant modelling software</li><li>Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.</li><li>Be able to detect problems prior to incidences occurring</li><li>Be an excellent communicator with both internal and external stakeholders</li></ul><br><br><b> Working with us </b><br><br>Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
