Senior Electrical Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane for 12 months secondment with potential to be extended into a client office. The successful applicant will be part of a team providing technical support for the delivery of greenfield developments; brownfield modification and operational support for the clients' CSG business. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b> <br><ul><li> Responsible for co-ordinating and directing the technical aspect of discipline engineering related activities </li><li> Must be familiar with relevant codes, client Design Specifications and procedures, and have a thorough working knowledge of the latest design and analytical techniques </li><li> Provides technical support and assurance for the Electrical discipline process and standards. </li><li> Provide technical support for ongoing greenfield and brownfield projects. </li><li> Provide technical operational support for the business's facilities </li><li> Assist with compilation of discipline safety critical engineering documentation to facilitate project close-out </li><li> Regular interaction with colleagues and design engineer team to meet schedule </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./ M.Sc./ B.Eng.) and eligible for membership of an internationally accepted applicable professional Institute. e.g., IET, Engineers Australia </li><li> RPEQ status is a preferred requirement </li><li> Should have over 5+ years of post-graduate experience, with 10 years in the oilfield or petrochemical industry, including 3 years as Senior Engineer </li><li> Broad experience across Hazardous Areas, LV/HV, earthing, design, compliance, field work </li><li> Good knowledge of local and international codes and standards used in oil and gas and refining for electrical engineering.
