Office Location: GSK Ulu Kelang No. of Positions: 1 position Preferred Period of Internship Required: ASAP Preferred School/Course of Intern: Open to all disciplines. JOB PURPOSE: Seeking PR/Communications/Linguistic intern to support communication tasks for business unit and running of engagement or employer branding events on site. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be required to: Research and understand GSK’s core business, branding and EVP plus brainstorm on initiatives to develop, execute and leverage various outreach efforts to raise awareness and enhance employee engagement on site. Assist in the end to end management of employee engagement events on site and stakeholder’s led initiatives (GSK global initiatives). LEARNING OUTCOMES: You will be able to: Learn, grow and contribute as a professional in a global E2E Supply Chain. Obtain high level overview of the E2E Supply Chain, activity, quality control, and it’s function in the Consumer Healthcare cycle. Support end to end project management for engagement and culture programmes. GSK IDEAL FIT: Business Skills and Competencies Educational background – studying Communications, PR/Linguistics /Language / Event Management /Design/ related degrees (undergraduates with one year remaining to graduation when starting role). Proficient in use of IT and software/systems, ideally document management and database systems. Behavioural Skills and Competencies Strong written and oral communications skills. Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment. Proactive attitude to process improvement. Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, problem-solve, work in teams, and focus on delivering assigned work.
