Design Trainee

Mechanical Design Engineer <br> Mission The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible to designs and develops products to meet customer`s requirements having awareness of design for manufacturing and design for fit and function.<br> <br> Responsabilities: <br> <ul> <li> Creates drawings and BOM's according to customer's technical specifications , industry standards and internal standards;</li> <li> Prepares design calculations to verify the product meets customer's requirements and standard requirements;</li> <li> Creates technical specifications such as assembly procedures, testing procedures and installation procedures;</li> <li> Utilizes internal Engineering Standards for material selection, design calculations and product validation tests;</li> <li> Provides assistance to Sales & Marketing to identifying customer's technical requirements;</li> <li> Participates to/ conducts Design Review (DR) meetings, such as: Quotation DR, Manufacturing DR, Customer DR, Value Engineering (VE) DR;</li> <li> Provides technical assistance from manufacturing process to product installation;</li> <li> Offers technical advice to internal and external customers related to Schlumberger products and services;</li> <li> Prepares technical documentation for project quotations;</li> <li> Prepares all design documentation which, then will be uploaded in PLM (SAP);</li> </ul> Qualifications: <br> <br> <ul> <li> Recient graduate Mechanical degree </li> <li> This position is not elegible for visa sponsorship </li> <li> English speaking and writing compulsory for position. </li> </ul> <br> Schlumberger is an equal opportunity employer.
