General Responsibilities DOLLAR THRIFTY (DTG) WILL BE HOSTING AN ONSITE HIRING EVENT AT OUR MAINTENANCE FACILITY NEAR THE PHILADELPHIA AIRPORT TUESDAY, APRIL 26th! As a Full-Time Commissioned Sales Specialist you will be interacting with Dollar Thrifty rental car customers who come to the counter in order to process their rental. You will not only process customer rentals but will actively consult with customers on the type of rental they need, including any insurance or ancillary benefits or coverage. The pay rate for this position is $14.25 per hour, with the opportunity for incentivized bonuses on a monthly basis (average is $2,000 a month after training and ramp up period)! Responsibilities: Provide world class customer service by managing the rentals and returns process, in compliance with The Hertz's Corporation policies and procedures Welcoming customers and answering questions in a friendly manner Resolve customer issues and concerns professionally using effective customer service techniques Effectively communicate and offer ancillary products and services to enhance customer’s travel experience Emphasis on selling and revenue maximization on core products such as, but limited to, options to waive customer's responsibility of damage, fuel options and vehicle upgrades Achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team Maintain an appearance that is appropriate for providing best in class customer service Drive continuous improvement by communicating customer feedback to team and engaging in action planning to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction Essential Requirements How to Drive your future in working with Hertz: Consult customers on Hertz rentals Ensure positive customer experience, making Hertz
1 in car rental company experience Peruse customers on additional services Strong communication and multitasking skills Conduct vehicle service and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction Have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Be at least 20 years of age High School diploma or general equivalency diploma required.
