Sourcing and Contract - Contracts Specialist IV

Key Accountabilities<br />
Responsible for strategy process facilitation that will deliver value and competitive advantage and resilient supply chain solutions. The SC Lead will support a wide range of stakeholders to ensure business continuity, strategic alignment and facilitate market intelligence/economic evaluations to support and validate business priorities and value drivers.<br />
<br />
Overall Areas of Responsibility<br />
* Work closely with the Montney PMT and CMT to manage the existing Central Process Facility lump sum turn-key agreements through execution to final close-out<br />
* Interface with local and global stakeholders to execute the CPF Contract Management Plan, ensure information is disseminated in a proactive manner, and leveraging these relationships for on-going knowledge sharing<br />
* Participate as a member of both CPC SC &amp; Projects teams to support the effective execution of SC programs through highly effective cross functional communication &amp; coordination strategies<br />
* Lead/facilitate the development and implementation of procurement and contract strategies for Capital expense requirements<br />
* Collaborate with Development, Technology and Projects teams to build SCM strategies to identify and test feasibility of emissions reduction technologies<br />
* Develop Engineering strategies that are fit for purpose for multiple stakeholder groups that have an enterprise view<br />
* Maintain line of sight to Capital Project execution and Project Management planning to apply information to the contract management process and strategy development<br />
* Ensure compliance with ConocoPhillips systems, policies, procedures, and agreements where applicable<br />
* Develop and Lead sourcing strategies to align multiple discipline goals and objectives to create value and ensure local and corporate compliance<br />
* Leading and direct contingent workers supporting the larger SC Capital Projects Team<br />
* Demonstrating commitment to Safety, DEI and SPIRIT values<br />
<br />
Required Skills/Competencies<br />
* University graduate and/or Supply Chain Professional designation (SCMP)<br />
* 10 years Oil and Gas experience required in Supply Chain, or alternatively in an Operations Execution or Business role with exposure to the Supply Chain function<br />
* 3 years in progressive leadership positions<br />

* Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholder groups and levels in the organization<br />
* Experiences in forming, executing, and administering large capital project contracts<br />
* Proven ability to quickly establish stakeholder relationships and demonstrate a collaborative and inclusive work style<br />
* Proven critical problem-solving skills and leveraging broad market intelligence information to inform decisions<br />
* Knowledge of SCM Capital Project, assurance, planning and execution processes<br />
* Strong negotiation and supplier relationships skills<br />
* Ability to lead strategy development and contract negotiation for major contracts<br />
* * Strong understanding of the global supply base &amp; emerging markets, which may support both the Canadian SC and various project teams<br />
* Knowledge of assurance funding process and budgeting<br />
* Intermediate level of knowledge of various enterprise software systems (GEP/SMART, SAP, and others)<br />
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word<br />
