We are hiring the best talent for Quality Technicianto be located in San Lorenzo Puerto Rico Purpose Reports to the Quality Team Leader or Designee, with the objective of maintaining high Quality Standards for Product Quality Control and operations compliance with regulatory requirements. Conducts routine physical inspection procedure to in-process material, as well as finished goods, as needed. Inspection involves the use of skilled specifications and established quality standards. Performs audits to ensure product and processes comply with requirements. Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Quality Team Leader or designee and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Maintains high Quality Standards for Product Quality Control and operations compliance with regulatory requirements. Conducts routine physical inspection to in process, and finished goods samples as needed. Performs product and process audits. Performs visual and dimensional inspection according to current specifications/procedures. o Notify any product or process non-conformance and escalates as appropriate. o Inspects, tests and/or evaluates the quality of products. Segregates and inspects Finished Goods samples and Retain Samples according to the requirements. Delivers samples to Finished Goods QA Lab. Performs data analysis and executes final disposition of the material as required. Performs batch records review accordingly with compliance requirements and complete record retention process. Maintain knowledge of all procedures, change to specifications and new regulations related to their areas of responsibility. Ensures on-time completion of assigned trainings. Support associates on defect awareness and specifications requirements. Support validation activities. Train new Technicians in Quality Assurance duties and responsibilities as required Evaluate and approve control and disposition of material to determine if it is according to the requirements and Quality System Regulations. Responsible for reporting material on hold. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures Performs other duties assigned as needed Qualifications Qualifications Education: A minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (General Education Development, GED) is required Associate’s Degree is preferred. Experience and Skills: Required: At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals environment, preferably in Quality. Preferred: Experience in material/product inspection or documentation preferred. Knowledge in electronic device history record review using SAP application is preferred. Must be fluent in Spanish (read, write, and speak), and be able to read in English; fluency in English is highly preferred. Other: Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word programs. Availability to work a 2nd Shift (1:00pm – 9:00pm) is required.
