Your Mission: As Plant Procurement Manager you manage all supplier relationships that Gutor Electronic entertains for both Switzerland and Malaysia including negotiations, reviews and changes of ca. 200 separate suppliers, both existing and new. This strategic supplier management concerns production raw materials, such as magnetics & PCBAs, cables and switchgear in close cooperation with the parent company, always considering the company’s sourcing strategy. You negotiate independently with national and international suppliers for long-term agreements, T&Cs and general cost savings while ensuring the business continuity You optimize the panel of suppliers, assess gaps through risk management and find opportunities for development all while ensuring a business continuity to warrant the best quality, price and lead-time. Project-specific spot deal negotiations mean you are already involved at the tendering “Quote to Win” and execution stage for company margin improvement. Your History: You have completed your university degree with a focus on procurement, international trade or supply chain. You have already gained a strong understanding of technology, technical products and raw materials thanks to your work experience in an industry setting Several years of professional experience in strategic and project purchasing means you are not afraid of making decisions and voice your ideas for further improving our processes. Playing an active, pivotal part in a multicultural, multifunctional team has you at the top of your game Your consistent performance is based on your resilience, positive attitude, self-reliance and entrepreneurial mindset. You are well versed in international and intercultural negotiations, aided by your natural assertiveness, strong communication skills and diplomacy.
