Siemens Healthineers participates in 30 healthcare research collaborations in Canada and around the world. https://www.healthcare.siemens.ca/healthcare-company-profile/about Position Overview Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Test Operations; the Test Operations Laboratory Technician, MEGA Value Assignment is responsible for the completion of MEGA Value Assignments, Finished Goods testing, and other MEGA test reagent cartridge requirements. Additional responsibilities include Finished Goods testing of cards, readers, capillary tubes, and test requirements for other Siemen Healthineers departments when required. Follows daily test schedule as directed the Supervisor, Test Operations Follows daily MEGA test schedule as directed by MEGA support team Regularly interacts with Engineers/Analyst, Equipment Technicians, Chemical Preparations Lab personnel, R&D and Manufacturing personnel What will you do? Follow written procedures for Value Assignment (including in-process measurements) and Finished Goods testing of MEGA reagent cartridges and maintain appropriate records for each activity Follow written procedures for Finished Goods Testing for; Epoc Test Cards, Capillary Tubes and Reader Final Test, and maintain appropriate records for each activity Routine performance checks including Adaptive Process Control, Lifetime, incoming material verification and validation testing Plans and executes more complex testing requirements for all engineering departments, complaint, software, and R&D Carries out advanced maintenance and complex troubleshooting on instruments/equipment for MEGA and Test Operations Laboratories Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Test Operations and MEGA Laboratory Providing guidance and mentorship to the level I and Level II Test Operation Laboratory Technician on MEGA testing processes Participates in MEGA and Test Operations process improvement efforts Participates with documentation updates and reviews Maintain Test Operations and MEGA Laboratory consumable inventory and initiates orders Note: Duties are not limited to those listed above. College or University degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience acceptable to Epocal.
