Financial Analyst

* Siemens Industry Software • Reports to country CFO and work with Zone Revenue Recognition Managers with the compilation, documentation and conclusion of transactions. Supports Sales, Finance and Legal with solutions to appropriately structure transactions to maximize revenue. Reviews multi-element order arrangements to ensure compliance with VSOE/Stand Alone Selling Price (SASP). • Performs financial analysis on budgets, operating results, and business plans for order and revenue. • Provides order and revenue related data to sales & sales operation • Co-works with accounting for revenue analysis reporting/reconciliation and audit follow up * What are my responsibilities? 1. Supports Country Finance, Sales and Legal teams to provide pre-execution revenue recognition advisory guidance for large and complex multiple element arrangements, unique situations and new business models 2. Documents revenue accounting treatment by summarizing the specifics of the transaction (Revenue Accounting Checklists) and overseeing the preparation of post deal documentation to support conclusions 3. Reviews Sales transactions for violations of Stand-Alone Selling Price (SASP) and guiding sales on adjusting pricing approach to conform to SASP bandings 4. Provides support to the Zone Revenue Analysts, Country Finance, and Sales teams to ensure policies are applied consistently across regions 5. Actively reviews, analyses, and manages the key controls within the domain of responsibility to ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements (IFRS, and Siemens Financial Policies) 6. Develops training materials and provide ongoing training to business finance, sales and operation teams * What do I need to qualify for this job? 1. Knowledge/Qualifications • Extensive understanding and practical experience in Revenue Recognition rules (IFRS 15) - Experience in software industry is a plus 2. Behaviours/Competencies • Fluent in English and Korean • Good at numbers and ERP ( SAP, BW, Tableau ) • Strong Team player to interact with multiple functions • High level of integrity and ethics 3. Education and Experience Requirement • 5+ years of experience in a finance function, specifically with Revenue Recognition and Software Sales support • University degree in Business Administration or Accounting • Professional Accounting certification (US CPA, CIMA, ACA, CIMA) 4. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements • This role is office based at a Siemens location • Some amount of travel may be required <10% • Due to Sales and Customer Service environment flexibility is needed, particularly toward monthly and quarterly closing cycles.
