Transportation & Installation Engineer

TAX Free Contractual Job opportunity has just been made available for an experienced Transportation & Installation Engineer by a leading oil and gas operator to be based in Qatar. <br><br>JOB DIMENSIONS<br><br><ul><li>The Project T&I Engineer is responsible for the Modules' transportation and installation activities for F-DBN Project covering also in particular Marine, Lifting, Survey positioning and Load-out activities.</li><li>The T&I Engineer will manage all activities concerning the T&I up to completion of installation.</li><li>During the course of the T&I execution he/ she will define and manage dedicated onshore and offshore to cover all the phases of the T&I activities, including but not exclusive of aspects related to Marine, Lifting, Survey positioning and Load-out activities in close coordination with Project Lead and functional entities.</li><li>T&I engineer responsibilities will also include the Management of all Marine Warranty Surveyor's activities. </li></ul><br>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<br><ul><li>Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering,</li><li>Experience: At least 15 years' experience in the offshore oil & gas project with minimum 10 years' experience as T&I Engineer,</li><li>Experience of similar project during construction phase at yard will be a plus.</li><li>Experience within a project team: At least 5 years' experience within large multinational taskforce team environment.</li><li>Track records of offshore attendance during topsides modules installation,</li><li>Available for technical missions worldwide,</li><li>Familiar with Total General Specifications, standards and relevant codes and standards,</li><li>Language: Fluent English,</li><li>Computer literate,</li><li>Strong leadership skills and good communication skills,</li><li>Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,</li><li>Good analytical skills,</li><li>H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings</li></ul><br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
