We are hiring the best talent for Process Improver Known Internaly as Process Improver to be located in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, if required, and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Consumer Health and your employment would be governed by New Consumer Health’s employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. Purpose Under limited supervision, provide support to new product introductions, process transfers, process development, process improvement, and quality improvement activities ranging from process validations execution, planning and support, creation of process specifications, batch records and other related documents, lean implementation, process development studies, training, NCR and CAPA management and overall process improvements utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Lead other associates as needed in activities related to process transfers, new products introduction, process improvements and quality improvements. Manufacture startup production batches and process development runs. Key Responsibilities: Dedicated to develop, manufacture, and market quality products and to promote a quality oriented corporate focus. 2. Execute validations related to new processes, equipment and products as needed in accordance with approved protocols, quality, compliance and EHS policies 3. Lead training activities for associates participating in new products introduction/process transfer, process development and process improvement activities. 4. Create documents in computer systems, submit Change Control systems documentation such as CR, CO and other applicable documentation management system requirements (ECCS or current system) in order to approve and implement new documents or changes to existing documents. Maintain accurate, compliant documentation throughout implementation process as per QSRs. 5. Support quality assurance and improvement functions as required, including, but not limited to: origination, investigation and closure of NCRs, hold cage management, collaboration and leading tasks for CAPA investigations. 6. Lead and/or execute lean implementation activities as required for new products, process transfers or existing products such as 5S, Kan Bans, Workflow, Metrics, Labeling and Signs, etc. 7. Learn new processes and knowledge transfer between R&D, Operations Integrations, other plants and functional groups as applicable and the San Lorenzo Plant. 8. Perform manufacturing functions for assigned new products, process transfer or process improvements. 9. Cross training in additional operations as required. 10.Participate and occasionally lead process improvement efforts related to products manufacturability, standardization and advancement. 11.Assist Engineers in process installations, troubleshooting and debugging. 12. Understand and comply with Company’s safety and environmental policies. 13.Proper use of all required personal protective equipment and devices to safely perform the job as necessary.. 14. Follow written and verbal instructions and comply with deadlines. 15.Work under pressure and execute task with speed and accuracy. 16.Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/facilitator. 17. Follow current compliance regulations and standards. 18. Comply with all federal regulated programs. 19.Support Plant Diversity Process. 20.Supports ETHICON Production System (EPS) by identifying, evaluating and resolving problems. 21. Understands and adheres to ETHICON Production System (EPS) Principles and Rules. 22. Comply with all environmental, safety and occupational health policies (i.e., ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001) 23. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level 24. Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures 26.Performs other duties assigned as needed Qualifications Qualifications and Requirements Education: Associate Degree or Higher level Education is required. Required: Experience relevant to the position Bilingual (Spanish & English) 2. Requires proven initiative, creativity, assertiveness and leadership abilities. Must be able to work under pressure achieving consistently high results through associate and team efforts. Intermediate or higher-level computer skills and use of software application(s).
