As an Mechanical Design Engineer , you will be providing design of metal sheet parts and interlocking systems with considering customer Request, IEC standard and factory system , factory capabilities and leadtimes. Then deliver assembly information to be shared with stakeholders in factory. Job Responsibilities Engineer to mechanically design and find solutions based on guidance from application engineering, product knowledge, customer specifications, necessary safety precautions, design guidelines, international and Eaton standards as part of the engineering to order process. Prepares the technical specifications for the purchase of mechanical components, takes care of a complete and accurate list of materials. (EMS) Creation of mechanical designs, general arrangement- and floorplan- drawings for customers and to be used in production for the assembly of the switchgear and field service for installation on site. Investigate technological developments and working methods with regard to Mechanical Engineering, advise about possible improvements and, after approval of management, implement these. Execute several projects at the same time in order to deliver on time; Ensures quality by actively organizing and doing peer reviews. Is budget aware and is able to estimate hours, stay within the agreed budget and looking for possibilities to beat the budget. Actively analyses and investigated issues occurring or opportunities to improve work quality, on time performance, efficiency in execution by means of improvements in processes, tooling, drawing methods/guidelines in close cooperation with management. Is pro-active in self learning of new methods, product knowledge or tooling. Is a team member for ordered projects proactively communicates with all stakeholders involved (application engineering, electrical engineering, work preparation, order management, planning, supply chain and assembly) on both technical matters and process, planning related matters. Pro-actively communicates feasibility and progress of work within the required quality, timing and budget deadlines. Document all activities, data and information in line with procedures. Provides 3D/2D CAD design,production drawings, and required internal documentation.
LI-ZK1 Qualifications Are you? Required: Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronics engineering degree Minimum of 1-year experience in a plant of mass-production (daily min.50 products) Low and Medium Voltage systems and technology Knowledge about Electrical International standard, IEC, is a plus Experience with SolidWokrs, Inventor and/or Creo Direct Modeling applications Experience with PLM and/or PDM ,eg.Model manager, Enovia, SolidWorks PDM or other tooling applications Turkish (v/w), English (v/w) and other languages will be preferential Procedures, company rules, guidelines (national and international), law, rules & regulations, standards, safety, quality and environmental guidelines as far as applicable What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
