Global Sourcing Program What is the role of the General Mills Supply Chain? General Mills' supply chain is one of the most respected supply chains in the industry today. Global Supply Chain makes the Food People Love. They buy ingredients to make our products, design services and equipment, create and package food and distribute our products. Sourcing’s role is to partner with stakeholders to globally source required goods and services to drive highest value (quality, service, cost, and safety) for General Mills. What will I do? As a Sourcing Buyer, you will:  Define and develop global sourcing strategies with senior stakeholders  Support cost savings projects in partnership with the global sourcing team and drive value for the business  Be a key contributor in the preparation of tenders and key suppliers’ negotiation  Liaise externally with suppliers and internally with Regional Buyers  Support Sourcing Managers in reporting of raw material prices and market forecasts Interns will experience a robust 6-month program leading business critical projects. Who is qualified to apply? • YOU if you’re pursuing a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Economics or Management (any concentrations e.g. Finance, Marketing, etc.) and have a strong academic record • We’re also seeking individuals with strong interpersonal skills, analytical and decision making skills, entrepreneurial qualities necessary for managing risk and leading change, and a curiosity and passion for learning and continuous improvement When and where will I work? At our Global Sourcing Center in Nyon, Switzerland (Close to Geneva). Internship Program would be from February 1st to July 31st, 2022. How do I apply?
