Job Description Call Center Customer Service Agent This is an IN OFFICE position, NOT a work from home position Location- Middletown, Pa Position Type: Full-time Schedule- No weekends, Monday through Friday 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Starting Pay- $20 per hour Must be at least 18 years of age with at least a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to work overtime as needed. A background check and drug screen are required. 1-year previous call center experience. ability to sit for long periods. Associate degree or previous work experience in child support or human services. Responsibilities Answer Inbound only calls. Be able to perform and meet call handle standards in a fast-paced, large call volume environment. Use multiple computerized systems, Multi-tasking is required Respond to telephone inquiries and complaints using standard scripts and procedures. Gather information, research/resolve inquiries and log all inbound calls. Communicate appropriate options for resolution promptly. Inform callers about services available and assess caller’s needs. Deescalating occasional irate callers.
