<b>Purpose </b><br />

The holder of this position shall perform his/her work tasks and responsibilities according to instructions and authorities given by the Supervisor, in line with guidelines listed below.<br />

<b>Duties &amp; Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
<b>Functions </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Participate in projects according to the temporarily assigned project role. May act as technical lead.</li>
<li>Handles all aspects of a project, as needed, to include customer interface, modeling, detail drawings, analysis, documentation, assembly support and testing.</li>
<li>Ensures all designs are of compatible materials and components taking into consideration environmental requirements.</li>
<li>Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.</li>
<li>Provides technical support on developed products.</li>
<li>Performs conceptual design work and engineering analysis.</li>
<li>Writes and reviews technical proposals and specifications.</li>
<li>Interfaces with customers and project managers.</li>
<li>Provides engineering status and progress reports.</li>
<li>Creates complete design packages with BOM.</li>
<li>Performs product testing onshore and offshore, writes testing procedures, &amp; build specialized testing equipment.</li>
<li>Develop relationships within the department and across the organization, including clarifying responsibilities, expectations and deliverables.</li>

<b>Supervisory Responsibilities </b></p>

<ul>
<li>This position has no direct reports but will assist in mentoring and training less experienced Engineers.</li>
</ul>
