<p><b>Coating Specialist </b></p><p> </p><p>We have a current opportunity for a Coating Specialist on a contract basis based in Doha.</p><p>Must be Certified NACE Coating Inspector, Level 3</p><p>Job Purpose</p><ul><li>Establishes effective implementation of the Qatargas Project Management Systems (QGPMS) through the Project Quality Plan and Quality Processes.</li><li>Advises through Quality monitoring and measurement of the implementation of QGPMS &amp; EPCI Contract Quality Requirements, Leading Coating Quality Surveillance and Quality Control Programs.</li><li>Develops, Implements and Reports Construction Phase Coating Surveillance Program.</li><li>Providing continuous support, coordination and advice to the North Field South Offshore Project QA/QC Head on Coating issues concerning PMT discipline execution and the oversight of Contractors/Suppliers.</li><li>Develop necessary Quality Procedures, Plans, Work Instructions and provides quality support and guidance to the NFS PMT</li></ul><p> </p><p>Qualifications &amp; Experience </p><ul><li>Certified NACE Coating Inspector, Level 3</li><li>Professional Quality Coatings Engineer with 10 years of QA/QC experience in Coatings applications during fabrication, construction, and installation of Jackets for Offshore Oil &amp; Gas Projects.</li><li>Demonstratable 10 Years of Experience leading, facilitating, coordinating and supervising the implementation of Coating Quality Control Programs at Major EPCI Fabrication Yards for Jackets representing the Client.</li><li>More than 10 years of experience in the development and delivery of Coating Prequalification Programs, Coating Quality Surveillance Programs, Coating Testing Programs covering Coating Specifications, Procedures, Materials, Applicators, Abrasives, Coating Equipment, Application, Testing and Acceptance.</li><li>Demonstratable experience with all Offshore Jackets Coating Systems including Specifications for the Application of Thermal Spray Coatings (Metallizing) of Aluminum, Zinc, and Their Alloys and Composites.</li><li>Previous experience of 5 years working within a multi-cultural, multi-discipline, multi-location environment preferably within the Middle East Region.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p>If you feel you have the skills and experience to perform well in this role we want to hear from you.
