Principal, Sustainability Business Division

The Sustainability Business Division (SBD) is a newly created global division with the mission to bring all Schneider acts together to provide unprecedent, end-to-end support to our customers to achieve their sustainable transformations - from formulating climate strategy to execution & deployment of sustainability offers. The mission of this role is to establish & grow Schneider Electric Sustainability Consulting Services business in the Pacific region, generating new consulting service revenues and maximize pull-through for ESS LOBs and rest of Schneider portfolio. Pull-though: collaborate with ESS Australia team to leverage ESS install base to facilitate pull through opportunities of SE LoBs Lead generation: develop new business relationship and maintain existing ones in Pacific (C-level / end market) Pitching & winning: drive pitching process and deal closing for case work - prepare pitching materials, serve as single point of contact, contract drafting, project staffing, etc Project management (future state): lead a team of Sustainability Consulting Services consultants to advise client on their climate strategy - from carbon baselining and onsite audits, external benchmark studies, to goal setting and roadmap planning - be the key interface with client during case work, provide project oversight (synthesize recommendations, challenge work in progress, and re-orient analyses as necessary to drive client value), and manage project budgets Follow Through: Work closely with other SE LoBs (including ESS LoB) and local Ops to follow through deployment People development (future state): Coach and inspire junior team members to develop their consulting and client communication skills, creating opportunities for team members to learn and grow Knowledge management: Contribute to Sustainability knowledge management by working closely with Knowledge Management team to 1) identify knowledge gaps and develop new methodologies, tools and assets; 2) ensure documentation of all pitching materials and project deliverables We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience. This job might be for you if: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Business Extensive and proven track record in Sustainability consulting / management consulting and / or a client facing role in sustainability-related services Analytical and Conceptual thinking: able to conceptualize business problems, understand and shape customer's needs, and drive frameworks for analysis that consultants can then follow Client Relationship Management: A solid track record of developing strong client relationships with C-levels of large organizations Engagement Management and Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage engagements, client relationships, provide strategic directions to teams, and ultimately be responsible for the quality of engagements.
